"How are you doing?"

It's a question we commonly ask those we see in passing. Think about how you've answered lately. There's a good chance you've used one or both of two words: "Busy" and "Tired".

It's a fact of life in the 21st century that the current of our culture will tend to lead us to isolation over real relational connection unless we are intentional about it.It's not just a good idea - relational connection is the way we were designed to work. God created us to thrive in healthy relationships with Him and others. That's why we see God reveal Himself to us as a unified community (i.e. Father, Son and Holy Spirit). That's why the Bible talks about us in terms of a family (He is the Father, we are the children) and a body (we each play a part and need the other parts).
