Doug Halcomb


Doug Halcomb is a hockey missionary with Hockey Ministries International (HMI) as the US Chapel Development Coordinator. Prior to joining the HMI staff, Doug was an Associate Pastor with Live Oak Community Church and part of the core group that founded the church in 1993. While on staff at Live Oak, Doug started out with HMI as a volunteer Chaplain for the Lubbock Cotton Kings during the 2000-2001 hockey season. Doug joined the HMI staff team in 2003.

Doug's role with Hockey Ministries International is to provide Chaplains to serve pro, junior and college hockey teams across the United States. Last season HMI served over 185 hockey teams in 20 different leagues across North America and Europe. In addition to providing Chaplains, HMI facilitates hockey camps that teach kids about hockey and about Christ. Doug and his wife Jennifer live in Frisco, Texas with their dogs Rocket and Cammi.
